Anthropometry is a science of measurement. It adheres to particular rules of measurement as determined by national and international standards bodies. The measurement sites give a good description of the body as a whole. Anthropometry measurement is useful to monitor athlete’s fitness level. Monitoring skinfold- fat thicknesses across the competition season provides useful information about changes in body fat stores.
